Sluice Valve / Gate Valves

A gate valve or a Sluice gate valve is described as a valve that uses a gate or wedge shape fragment that slides vertical to the inflow of the fluid into or out of the channel. When the gate valve is completely opened, the fragment of the gate valve is fully separated from the inflow. This virtually gives no opposition to inflow. Due to this, veritably little reduction in pressure is endured as the fluid moves through the gate valve.
